ADT-1 Filing
ADT-1 Filing is the legal filing that needs to be made with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) to let the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) know that a company has hired an auditor.
The Companies Act of 2013 says that every business must hire a mandatory inspector. As soon as the company chooses an auditor, it needs to let the ROC know by filing Form ADT-1.
To put it simply, ADT-1 tells the government legally that your business has hired an inspector.
If you don't file ADT-1, you could be fined for not following the rules.
