GST Registration
The Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 says that a firm must go through the GST Registration procedure to be lawfully registered. The Government of India gives the firm a unique 15-digit Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) when it is registered.
GST took the place of several indirect taxes, including VAT, Service Tax, Excise Duty, and Entry Tax. It made India's tax structure one that works for everyone. Under GST, each firm that sells products or services worth more than a certain amount must register.
In other words, registering for GST makes your firm a part of India's indirect tax system. It lets you legitimately charge GST to clients and get an Input Tax Credit (ITC) on things you buy.
A firm can't lawfully charge GST or give a legitimate tax invoice if it isn't registered for GST.
