What does IEC mean?

What does IEC mean?

What does IEC mean?

The Ministry of Commerce's Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) gives out the Import Export Code (IEC), which is a 10-digit number.

Anyone who wants to import or export goods or services from India must first get this license.

Customs won't let shipments go through, and banks won't process international transactions without an IEC.

IEC is the global identity of your business and the way Indian businesses get into international markets.
